Posted November 07, 2018 09:23:56A few weeks ago, we wrote about how the Amazon Jobbot project was hacked.
It’s now come to light that Amazon is actively looking to hire some remote employees.
The jobbot team announced in November that it was in talks with Amazon and other platforms about hiring remote workers.
The company said in a blog post that the remote hires will be the most “local” hires.
They’ll be working remotely from their home offices and the company says it won’t be responsible for the security of their information.
Amazon also said that they won’t ask candidates to sign a waiver agreeing not to speak with anyone outside of their company.
While we don’t know the exact details of the talks between Amazon and the remote hire program, the company said it was “in talks” with Microsoft, Apple, Microsoft’s own Teams and the rest of the tech giants that Amazon employs.
Amazon said it would be hiring remote hires for “specialized roles” that would involve a “multi-month” duration.
The company is reportedly looking for people who have experience in a wide variety of areas, including marketing, sales, finance, IT, customer service and other areas.
If you’re interested in a remote job, you can apply here .
You’ll have to provide your own credentials and you’ll have an interview with the company at some point.
